W+K The Work Comes First Wall

Producers and team members from Wieden+Kennedy had the dream of building a sophisticated interactive wall that would become a permanent fixture in their W+K PDX office. After experiencing a prototype version of the custom software in action and seeing a handful of potential mechanical parts they wanted to use, Big White Box designed and fabricated a display case to hold all of the necessary components. After three months of work, more than 5,000 solder connections, about 4,000 tiny nuts, washers, and screws, 1,000 custom painted red screws, their vision finally came to life.
